Embedded Expertise is supporting the delivery of major Defence facilities and infrastructure programs in Western Australia and is seeking an experienced Senior or Director level Planner to join a high performing project controls environment.

This role sits within a multidisciplinary Planning and Delivery function providing Project Management and Contract Administration (PMCA) services across complex, secure Defence infrastructure projects.

The Opportunity

As a Senior or Director Planner, you will take ownership of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for large scale Defence infrastructure programs. You will work closely with project managers, cost controllers, risk leads and delivery partners to ensure schedules are fully integrated, risk aware and aligned to program objectives.

This is a senior, influential role where your planning expertise will directly support informed decision making and successful project outcomes across long term Defence programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and analyse the Integrated Master Schedule using Primavera P6
  • Integrate contractor, consultant and stakeholder sub schedules into a single authoritative program
  • Clean, validate and import schedules in P6 while maintaining data integrity and controlled access
  • Identify schedule risks and opportunities and propose mitigation strategies
  • Align schedules with cost forecasts, budgets and cashflows in collaboration with cost teams
  • Support schedule risk analysis, impact assessment and forecasting
  • Provide high quality schedule analysis and reporting for senior stakeholders

About You

  • Extensive experience in planning and scheduling at senior level
  • Background in Defence, infrastructure or complex building programs is highly regarded
  • Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 and strong capability in Microsoft Excel - essential
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and full project lifecycles
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
  • Able to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a complex environment
  • Australian citizenship essential with the ability to obtain Baseline or NV1 Defence security clearance
